- What’s for breakfast in your diet today?
Breakfast this morning and almost everyday is rolled oats mixed with cereal. I usually accompany it with a cup of milo or coffee.
- Reasons for your choice of breakfast?
I eat my cereal with milk, mixed with a scoop of protein powder because this provides me with sufficient protein (roughly 30grams).
This combination gives me a good mix of carbs, proteins and fiber which keeps me going until my next meal in school a few hours later.
- What do you usually take for lunch and dinner, and why?
For lunch, I usually go for mixed rice that is provided by the school and that ensures that I have a good mix of meats and vegetables.
As for dinner, my parents normally prepare a meal that suits the entire family. They are mostly one-pot meals such as beef stew, chicken soup or Yong Tau Foo, accompanied with a helping of rice.
These meals give me that balance of essential nutrients that are good for my diet and training schedule.
- Any food or beverages you don’t consume?
I try very hard to stay away from soft drinks such as Sprite. Another item I refrain myself from eat is potato chips.
- Let us in on that must-have cheat snack everyday?
Maybe not on a daily basis but I enjoy drinking bubble tea a lot! I’ll have it once every other day or less. That is like a treat from my usual diet!
