THEY SAY: “Think you’ll never find a running shoe that’s got both light weight and extreme stability? You just did. The Wave Inspire 7 gives you the support you need with generous rebounding cushioning to keep you moving. All in a flexible, lightweight shoe built for the long run.” – Mizuno
WE SAY: The Mizuno Wave Inspire 7 combines support and a good level of responsiveness in one sleek package. This is one shoe moderate flat footers should consider.
Fit/Comfort: 7/10 — We like the shoe’s ability to shape itself to better fit your foot after a few runs.
Cushioning: 7/10 — The shoe provides good cushioning and support for moderate flat-footers, but doesn’t look and feel like a brick on your foot.
Stability: 8/10 — For a shoe of its class (shoes for flat-footers tend to be stiffer), it’s flexible enough to offer an impressively comfortable heel-to-toe transition. It also feels responsive enough to do sprints in.
Design/Aesthetics: 6.5/10 — This is one serious looking pair of running shoes – it looks best when paired with your running attire.
Recommended Retail Price: $179
