Are you bored and wondering what to do in Singapore? If you’re lucky, maybe you try to spot Mandopop stars Jay Chou and JJ Lin at the most unlikely places. Recently, the pair has been spotted travelling across Singapore.
This past week, the pair has been seen at Sim Lim Square, eating at the various stalls in the area. During their time there, an enthusiastic crowd and a film crew were seen tailing them on this unusual journey.
Mr Jeremy Lim, a spokesperson for Zeppelin and Co told The Straits Times, “They spent an intimate half hour chatting to customers as well as staff, and everyone was pleasantly surprised with how cordial they were and willing to engage in conversation, accepting feedback humbly and in turn sharing the inspiration for their work.” He was also encouraged that the pair engaged with his customers, talking to the crowd and asking for feedback on their music.
Zeppelin and Co not only serves coffee like a regular cafe, but also has headphones that customers can listen to while enjoying their drink. The cafe opened 2 years ago and has had a steady following ever since.
Aside from Sim Lim Square, the pair was also spotted at S.E.A Aquarium in Resorts World Sentosa and Madame Tussauds Singapore. Over the past year, JJ has completed 4 concerts in Singapore as part of his JJ Lin Sanctuary World Tour while Jay held a sold-out concert at the National Stadium. Jay will also be performing at the Singapore Formula One Grand Prix and is currently producing a racing film.
If you’re on the lookout for these two superstar artists, be sure to do it soon as you never know where they will end up next. If you’re not a fan of Mandopop, you could try out delicious burgers, rice bowls or hotpot restaurants across Singapore!
