    When a friend introduced me to Bikini Bodybuilding.

    Bikini Bodybuilding is more of an overall toned, defined and athletic look, with a modest amount of muscle with no striations. It also makes use of posing to show personality.

    I find it appealing because I’m able to show my personality, the body that I’ve worked hard on for months, and present it to the audience. I’ve always loved performing since young.

    My favourite body part to train would be legs. My usual routine consists of these exercises:

    Incline Treadmill 15 min ( WARM UP)

    Squats:

    Warm-up set – 20 reps without weights

    3 sets – (10-15 reps) with weights

    Stiff Legged Deadlifts (with Barbell):

    4 x 15 reps

    Smith Machine Hip Thrust:

    4 x 10- 15 reps with weights

    Cables KickBacks:

    4 x 15 reps

    Lunges

    100 reps

    When I’m competing, I do Low Carb High Protein. Otherwise, I’ll just ensure that I have enough carbs to sustain for my classes, like having protein and vegetable in every meals.

    My regular meal plan:

    Breakfast- Simple carbs (fruits) in the morning and protein (Eggs). [Pre-gym meal]

    1st Lunch – Veggies and any protein

    2nd Lunch – Complex carbs (3/4 of Rice) with any Protein and veggies. [Pre-workout]

    Dinner – Any protein, complex carbs (3/4), veggies.

    It’s a lifestyle that I’ve been doing for almost 2 years. What keeps me motivated is the satisfaction and energised feeling I get after every workout.

    For days when I get lazy/unmotivated, I’ll watch videos to get inspired and get myself moving again. Food keeps me going for my bad days 🙂
