Meet the Supra from Lagree Fitness, the brainchild of Sebastien Lagree. It’s a powerful piece of fitness equipment with a twist: It’s intelligent. Right now, it’s only available at the Lagree Fitness Studio in Los Angeles, although the rest of the world can already dream about the coming age of robo-fitness trainers.
Lagree, a Hollywood trainer, partnered with BMW DesignWorks to build the Supra, a massive machine that includes everything from cable attachments to a movable plate that can be used for leg motions to room for you to do ab exercises.

The key to the Supra, however, is its smarts. Lagree called the device “the future of fitness” in Forbes, which claims the machine can help users burn 400 calories in 25 minutes. The machine also features a new technology called SIS, an infotainment system that serves as a trainer, showing exercises and tracking performance.
SIS can track your heart rate, time under tension, and range of motion, paying attention to everything a trainer should monitor. In theory, according to Forbes, SIS will adjust the Supra’s workout to your fitness level.
None of this instantly makes the Supra the greatest route to health and fitness. After all, you can easily burn that many calories—and even more—in a group fitness class such as F45 in Manhattan.
But if you can make it to Lagree Fitness Studio in Los Angeles for your workouts, the Supra promises a workout that can be matched by few other machines when it comes to efficiency.
