Cheating In A Relationship? Why Your Face Shape Might Indicate It
People always say, don’t judge a book by its cover. When it comes to sex and cheating in a relationship, apparently this does not apply. You can actually tell a person’s sexual motivations based on their face shape.
According to an article in ScienceDaily, a study done by the Nipissing University In Canada, that was published in Springer’s journal Archives of Sexual Behavior, found out that men with square-faced shape are more attractive as short-term sexual partners than their thinner and longer-faced counterparts as they are more aggressive, dominant and unethical.
Cheating In A Relationship? Here’s Why It Happens
The study consist of 145 graduates, who were in relationships, answering questions about sex drive and their interpersonal behaviour. Photograph of the participants was also taken to measure their facial width-to-height ratio.
A second study then was conducted, which asked the participants about their sexual orientation, infidelity and how they feel and think about casual sex without any commitments.
Well, the study results find that, based on the facial width-to-height ratio, men and women that has a higher ratio (square-faced) have a higher sex drive compared to other face shapes.
Men in particular, that are square-faced, besides having a high sex drive, are more likely to be cheating in a relationship as they are more open to casual sex and would more likely be unfaithful to their partner.
6 Signs She’s Thinking Of Cheating On You
“Together, these findings suggest that facial characteristics might convey important information about human sexual motivations,” says Steven Arnocky, who led this study.
Does that really mean all squared-faced guys are going to cheat in a relationship? Well, even if they do have a higher sex drive, it does not mean that they all are cheating in a relationship. There are still a lot of factors aside from your face shape and sex drive. Who knows, even pointy shape faces could cheat.
After all, you really can’t judge a book by its cover, so don’t go looking into the mirror and worrying if you are squared-face or not, or if you are that concerned, probably you can find a way to sharpen it.
