Not necessarily. Even if the vegetable oil used contains no cholesterol, it can still break down at a high temperature, forming undesirable compounds like trans fats. And even if you use the healthiest oil available for deep-frying, it will still result in food that is very high in calories. Eat less fries or go for baked potatoes.
