Running without shoes doesn't only feel liberating: It can actually strengthen your feet and improve your running form.
There's no need to switch into wheelchair mode once you hit the big 50-60 age mark – you just need to know what to watch out for so that you'll never have to stop.
Even the toughest endurance athletes have a leaf to pick from this mountain runner's book. His credentials: 28:04 for the 10km, 2:13 for the marathon and 1:25 for an 18km uphill race. Pull out a chair, and listen up.
