What should I take note off when making a will?

Firstly, you need two witnesses to sign off on your will – and these individuals cannot be beneficiaries of your estate. Also, you need to nominate an executor (someone to carry out the instructions in your will). Of course, this individual needs to outlive you, and ideally should get along well with whomever your assets are going to be distributed to. Include a clause that specifies what to do with items that you don’t specify as assets (like a DVD or book collection), as well as another that addresses any debt you owe (for example, you can address how your debts can be paid out of a specific bank account).
