Will I get arthritis if I crack my knuckles?

Evidence suggests that knuckle cracking annoys everyone within earshot, but a study in the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases concludes that the habit does not cause arthritis. If you want to ward off arthritis, stick with our favourite cure-all: alcohol. Swedish researchers found that a drink or two a week can halve your arthritis risk.
