2. Experience Golden Falls In Iceland
Come face to face with Iceland's most famous, and beautiful, waterfall at Gullfoss. It is nicknamed "Golden Falls" due to the golden sheen you'll see when sunlight reflects off the water's surface (when it's not during winter). This scenic waterfall plunges 32m down a steep canyon, carrying glacial water from a glacier lake about 40km north of Gullfoss.
Gullfoss waterfall is located in the popular tourist route called the Golden Circle. This is a 300km loop from the capital of Reykjavik into central Iceland and back. Other attractions to check out are the Þingvellir National Park and geysers in Haukadalur.
3. Brawl In Bangkok
Cheap shopping and good food are the popular reasons Singaporeans keep flocking to Bangkok, Thailand. But this popular holiday spot is also home of Muay Thai, the martial art form that has boomed in popularity over the years. Ditch Chatuchak market and instead, glove up at a local Muay Thai training school, such as the Fighting Spirit Gym (www.fightingspiritgym.com). Its programme incorporates traditional Muay Thai training with Western-style strength and conditioning exercises, like using kettlebells and flipping tyres. An hour-long beginner’s lesson includes skipping rope, learning the various drills in Muay Thai and repeatedly practising them with a trainer.
