Does Working Out Actually Make You Smarter?

Research is showing that the caricature of gym fans being big and dumb may not be true at all.

According to resarch published in the Journal of Nutrition, after 105 college students were examined for iron levels, peak oxygen intake, grade point average, performance on attention and memory tasks and motivation, it found that fitness had the greatest benefit in terms of improving gpa, and those who paired high fitness and adequate iron-which you can get from eating spinach- did the best.
