For a dressy watch, I've always found square-faced or tank watches to be particularly attractive. The next quality I find attractive in a dressy watch is slimness. For me, a watch should not sit obstrusively on the wrist like a clunky oversized relic. It works better if it inspires the curiosity of other people who may catch a glimpse of it peering from under your cuff. The Burberry BU1903 is a good example: a harmony of black and grey that plays on the Burberry tartan design. A handsome combo. It's also slim enough to slide underneath the cuff of a ready-to-wear shirt. This watch can we worn to the office or on those occasions when you want to dress yourself up a bit.
