Which exercises are the best for building explosive upper-body power?

It depends on your sport. If you’re a water polo or rugby player, you can try clap push-ups: On the upwards phase of a regular push-up, explode high enough into the air to clap your hands, before returning them to the ground to catch your fall. Try this: Do as many clap push-ups (or regular ones if they’re too hard) as you can in 20 seconds. Rest for 10 seconds. Repeat this for 10 minutes.
