Q:
Do I still need to apply a moisturiser if I'm already using a skin serum?

While a skin serum can increase the hydration level of your skin, it does not have the same effect as a moisturiser. Serums tend to be lighter in texture - so that they can quickly penetrate the skin and deliver their active ingredients. A moisturiser, however, hydrates the skin and protects its surface. Using a serum and moisturiser together is a more effective way of improving the appearance of your skin and keeping it well-hydrated.
