Q:
Can a person with diabetes drink the occasional beer?

advertisement

Don’t drink alcohol at all if you’re an overweight diabetic, if you have poor blood glucose control, high blood pressure or other complications. If you’re on insulin injections, be aware that alcohol can lower your blood glucose levels even further. However, if your blood glucose is under control, you may drink alcohol within the recommended amount (two standard drinks per day). But always consult your doctor first.

Diabetes is a very common disease these days. If your problem is diagnosed early in a younger age then you have to make an end or control it with the help of your doctor. To prevent from early signs of having a diabetes check this site www.fastppt.org that I've just read about diabetes
