Can eating slower make me feel fuller?

Yes, it can – but you have to learn how to do it. Studies show that it takes about 20 minutes for the brain to register that you’re full. Chew your food, take smaller bites, and put the fork or spoon down between bites. Even better, eat with people who dine slowly, and make an effort to carry on a conversation during the meal.
