Q:
Are car decals a good idea?

advertisement

Car decals are typically made of vinyl and come in the form of self-adhesive, ultra-thin flexible sheets. Installers usually claim that these decals are weather-resistant, waterproof and last a long time. They can supposedly be easily cleaned with a soft cloth or sponge and warm soapy water.

Removing the decals shouldn’t destroy your paintwork if they were installed professionally in the first place. If you go to a reputable installer or opt for a branded decal maker like 3M, everything should be fine and your car’s paint job should be as good as before you stuck on the decals.
